Welcome intro
Welcome in our village
We love glass and we hope so do you
Imagine that feeling when you’re watching a beautiful thing but someone or something keeps blocking your view. Not in Transparacity because this place is almost entirely made out of glass. The beautiful view on the surrounding mountains will make you forget the cold.
Learn more about our city
Let us show you around
This is our mayor
Once upon a time Margaret lived in Glasgow. She couldn’t become a mayor over there, so she decided to break the glass ceiling and founded her own city.
The birth of Transparacity was a fact.
And this is what our city looks like
Glass houses are not only beautiful. They give you the ability to watch the beautiful landscape while still sitting cosy inside.
Last but not least
When you go to our village, don’t forget to visit Spectacles in city hall.
He is our city dog!
A problem can occur
Like in every city
Sometimes a problem may occur
What could possibly go wrong in a place made out of glass, right? If you are thinking right now “well mmm quite a lot actually: broken glass, privacy issues, dirty windows…” Don’t worry! Our citizens are true gems. They turn problems into opportunities.
From all the heart-warming stories we receive from our citizens, we select the ones that are most inspiring. Check out the top three of this week below!
Check out this week’s local heroes
Meet our local heroes
Age: 29
Loves: sunbathing, men & barbecuing
Biggest mistake: barbecuing vegetables
Charlie the marshmallow guy
Charlie loves barbecuing all day everyday. When he runs out of wood he just wanders around the streets. The reflections of the sunlight in the glass do the work for him. This way everyone he runs into can enjoy some delicious marshmallows.
The reflections of the sunlight in the glass, roast his marshmallows
Greta the scarecrow
Greta watched a bird die because he flew against the glass. She realised that the only proper thing to do to prevent this, is scare them away. This way you don’t have to worry about bird poop on your windows either.
Age: 45
Passion: cosplay
Can't stand: climate deniers & birds dying
She prevents birds from flying against the windows
She gives you space to hide away behind the glass
Mila and the aerosol
What if your annoying neighbour or the next scout kid rings your doorbell? Ignoring them is unfortunately no option in a house entirely made out of glass. Luckily Mila is here, she draws silhouettes to hide away!
Way to go Mila!
Age: 20
Frustration: Wishes some privacy
Characteristics: Enthousiast but also quickly annoyed
